Bee More Dog – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Bee More Dog! By booking a session, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These help ensure a safe, positive, and effective experience for everyone involved: humans and dogs alike.

1. Booking, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Contact: All booking changes must be made by emailing Jenna at admin@beemoredog.com.

Payment: Full payment for all sessions or courses is required in advance to confirm your booking.

Cancellations: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel a session. Cancellations with less notice may not be eligible for a refund, except in genuine emergencies (for example, dog illness or bereavement), which may require supporting evidence (such as a vet note).

Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours in advance. I'll do my best to accommodate you.

Emergencies: Life happens! If you have a genuine emergency, please let me know as soon as possible. I will always approach these situations with understanding.

2. Client Responsibilities

Accurate Information: Please provide complete and honest details about your dog's health, behaviour (including any history of aggression or reactivity), and any relevant conditions (for example, allergies, injuries). Failure to disclose such information may result in the termination of services without a refund.

Health: Please do not bring your dog to sessions if they are unwell or have a contagious condition.

Dog Control & Safety: Owners are responsible for their dog's behaviour and actions at all times, including keeping them on a lead unless instructed otherwise. You are responsible for any damage or injury caused by your dog to people, animals, or property.

Approved Equipment: Only positive, non-aversive equipment is permitted. No choke chains, prong collars, e-collars, or similar devices. If you're unsure about your equipment, please ask; I'm happy to advise!

Children: Children are welcome to join sessions but must always be supervised by an adult. For insurance reasons, children may not handle the dog's lead unless agreed in advance.

Promptness: Please arrive on time for your session. Sessions cannot be extended due to late arrival.

Cleanliness: Please clean up after your dog, both during and after sessions, and dispose of waste appropriately.

3. Cancellation Policy (by Bee More Dog)

Trainer Cancellations: I may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, extreme weather, or insufficient numbers for a group class.

Refunds/Rescheduling: If I have to cancel, I will offer a full refund, pro-rata refund, or alternative arrangements (for example, rescheduling), depending on the situation.

Refund Exclusions: Refunds are not given if you simply change your mind partway through a course, or if services are ended due to client non-compliance with these T&Cs or recommended guidance.

4. Liability & Indemnity

Limitation of Liability: I will take every reasonable care during sessions, but Bee More Dog cannot be held liable for injuries, accidents, or damages to your dog, yourself, or third parties, unless directly caused by my proven negligence.

Client Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Bee More Dog harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your dog's actions.

Client Insurance: You are strongly advised to ensure your dog is covered by appropriate pet insurance, including third-party liability cover.

5. Training Methods

Philosophy: Bee More Dog uses only force-free, positive reinforcement, and humane training methods. Harsh handling, punishment, or aversive equipment are strictly prohibited.

Cooperation: If at any time training recommendations are repeatedly ignored, or if your dog's welfare or the safety of others is compromised, sessions may be discontinued without refund.

6. Photography & Marketing

Photos & Videos: I may take photos or videos during sessions for marketing, educational, or record-keeping purposes. If you'd prefer not to have yourself or your dog included, just let me know; opting out is always respected.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Privacy: All personal information and details about you and your dog will be treated with respect and kept confidential in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Information will only be used for the purposes of providing training services and will never be shared without your explicit consent.

8. Health & Safety

Health Checks: Please do not attend sessions if your dog is unwell, has a contagious condition, or is recovering from surgery. Please inform me immediately if your dog displays any signs of illness or injury before a session.

Emergencies: I am trained in canine first aid and will always prioritise safety in any emergency situation. In an emergency, I reserve the right to seek veterinary attention for your

dog if you are not present or contactable. Any associated costs will be your responsibility.

9. General

Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.1

Amendments: These T&Cs may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be provided to you before your session. Continued engagement with Bee More Dog services implies acceptance of the updated terms.

Contact: For any questions, please contact Jenna at admin@beemoredog.com or 07833 170833.

Thank you for choosing Bee More Dog! I look forward to working with you and your dog to build a happy, trusting partnership.
